RESPECT
Respect is a small word but has a lot of meaning behind it. To me respect means to let your elders know you are a very manerable person by using the words ma'am, sir, thank you, and many more words you can use to acknowledge your elder or maybe even a stranger. Believe it or not but you dont have to know a person to give them respect. My parents always have taught me this way " YOU HAVE TO GIVE RESPECT TO GET RESPECT" and that is good advice that i have went by every since i was old enough to know what respect is.

Kanye's OutBurst

I feel as though that was total disrespect for Kanye to dis Taylor Swift the way he did Sunday night on MTV's music awards. If that would have been him and someone else said something similar to Kanye like that he would feel as though that the person would have disrespected him. I also feel as though the situation about the awards had nothing at all to do with him, and it was none of his business to get involved. I truly believe that Kanye was jealous of Taylor Swift's award. And if I was Taylor I Would have made it my business to give him a good piece of my mind.

Obama stresses responsibility to students to stay in school
Obama stresses for us to stay in school so that we can have a good job in the future. If we fail to go to school meaning "drop out" we will get no where in life. We will no longer be able to find a good job without a good education. He also explains to us that no matter what our everyday life takes us through we shouldn't let that come in compact with our school life. We can be whatever it is that we want to be if we work hard enough to accomplish our goal to finish in school. Being successful is hard but in life you will fall in harder traps just to see how far you make it. Just keep trying and you'll make it. He also says "don't give up, because if you give up on yourself, you're giving up on our country." In my eyes that means to me that if you give up your not only making yourself look bad but your making your family and country look bad as well. So take Obama opinion and STAY IN SCHOOL.

Cell Phone Policy
I feel that the cell phone policy at school shouldn't be an issue in some cases. Why? Some students feel as though they should be able to text in class and I'm with them on that situation as long as it don't become an distraction to others. Many teachers feel like the students wont learn as much if their faces are all in phones but, in some cases that may not be true it all depends on how you handle the situation with rules in your class. And as far as talking on the phones in class that should be out of the question because that just don't fall right in school, the only excuse in using phones in class is with teachers permission and the calls should be only made to parents for emergencies and the call should be took outside in the hall.
