Cell Phone Policy

I feel that the cell phone policy at school shouldn't be an issue in some cases. Why? Some students feel as though they should be able to text in class and I'm with them on that situation as long as it don't become an distraction to others. Many teachers feel like the students wont learn as much if their faces are all in phones but, in some cases that may not be true it all depends on how you handle the situation with rules in your class. And as far as talking on the phones in class that should be out of the question because that just don't fall right in school, the only excuse in using phones in class is with teachers permission and the calls should be only made to parents for emergencies and the call should be took outside in the hall.
